PinSheet also ships its own help — open the app, go to settings and tap Help for a walkthrough of every element on the screen.

My course isn’t in the list
Check the country filter first — PinSheet pre-selects the country your phone is in. If it genuinely isn’t there, the club isn’t live yet. Send us the club name and we’ll approach them, or point your course manager at the club page.
The pins look wrong or out of date
PinSheet pulls the published sheet when it starts. Close it fully and reopen to force a refresh. If it’s still wrong, the club may not have published today’s pins yet — that’s set by the greenkeeper, not by us. Tell us the club and the hole and we’ll check.
No GPS distances
GPS is off by default. Enable it in settings, and make sure the phone has granted PinSheet location permission. Distances need a fix, so give it a moment outdoors after switching on.
The app doesn’t follow my hole
That’s the Always On setting, which needs GPS enabled. It’s designed for a mounted device on a cart — on a phone in your pocket, swiping is usually easier on the battery.
Distances are in the wrong units
Metres or yards is a setting — switch it and every readout follows, including your club distances and dispersion figures.
Greenkeeper: I can’t edit pins
PinPlacer permissions are set per user in the back office. Staff who only cut holes are given read-only access on purpose. Ask your club administrator, or mail us and we’ll sort it with them.
